I
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
Budug Asu is one of
attractions originally not too known by a lot of peoples who like to explore
nature. At first Budug Asu only traversed by motorcycle crosser as the main
line to Mountain Arjuno, but they feel that this place is very exactly to be
used as attraction. Therefore, they initiative to organize Budug Asu as an
attractive such as create variety of spots photo. Every spots photo that they
make has beautiful background scenery.
The reason we chose
Budug Asu as object observation is in addition to eliminate curiosity about the
beautiful of Budug Asu, we also want to popularize Budug Asu to the public. Why
do we would like to explore Budug Asu? Because that place more conveniently so
that does not require a long time to enjoy a beautiful view.

OBSERVATION
REPORT
2.1
Location and Time
This
observation is located in Budug Asu Lawang, Regency of Malang. The time of
observation begins at 9:30am until 15:30pm.

Subject of Observation
The subject of this
observation is focused on the hidden scenic beauty in Budug Asu.

Instrument of observation
The
instrument of this observation is presented in the form of video packed in CD
that contains the view is in Budug Asu as well as an interview with some of
visitors.

RESULT
OF OBSERVATION
3.1
Budug Asu
Budug Asu is one of the many natural attractions in
Malang recently exposed. This spot is so beautiful because it is on the slopes of
mountain
Arjuno. Budug Asu is
located in the vicinity of agriculture tourism tea garden
area Lawang - Wonosari, Malang
regency.
The name Budug asu is a bit extreme, but this is not an animal enclosure that is interpreted in the Java
language. Location Budug Asu Lawang Malang is still rarely touchable
and with rough
terrain. Location of Budug Asu which is at an altitude of 2000 MDPL make the
atmosphere in this place so cool and also suitable for beginners mountain
climbers and camping lovers. At first this spot is only used by the motorcycle
crossers as the main line at the foot of the mountain Arjuno, but along with
the many crossers that come later made a spot of photos that invite many
hunters photos to visit.

Product
3.2.1 Sea of Clouds
When we are at the peak of this spot we will be treated
to a view of the cloud that runs as if we are above the clouds.
3.2.2 Beautiful View
Sights such as tea gardens, vast grassland, as well as the
beauty of Arjuno mountain can be found in the Budug Asu hill.
3.3 Accessability
Access to budug asu can be passed by motor cross or jeep
car. If forced to use a duck motor can also, but requires an extra trip. Some
visitors choose to walk with travel time about 2.5 hours. There are 3 routes to
the budug asu that can be passed via the tea garden wonosari, BBIB and
Sumberawan. The most common path is through the wonosari tea gardens because of
better access to the net.
The road to this budug asu hill is quite extreme. The
condition of the net has not been asphalted but is still rocky and even muddy.
For it would be better if it comes using a motorcycle type of trail / cross. To
go to the location Budug Asu, you just go to agriculture Wonosari tea garden,
and then follow the instructions of the road.
This spot can be accessed by all circles both men and
women, but for the children under 19 years quite dangerous.
3.4 Costs
Each visitor will be charged entrance fee of Rp 5
thousand and motorcycle parking costs of Rp 3 thousand. While that comes with a
cross motor, will be charged entrance ticket Budug Asu Rp 10 thousand and for
jeep cars charged Rp 25 thousand.
3.5 Advantages and Disadvantages
The advantages of this spot is the beauty of the scenery that can spoil
the eyes of every visitor who comes, but it can also be used as a sports
activity, spot varied photographs also become the advantage of this spot. Disadvantages of this place is
the access road to its location which is so extreme that it makes it difficult
for visitors who are not familiar with the extreme conditions.
3.6 Impacts of The Attraction
The impacts of the attraction of Budug Asu is that place
to be frequented visit by the tourist both local tourist or even people who
coming from out of city. Besides that, it also makes Budug Asu as a new
attraction that must to visit.
3.7 The Increasing and
Decreasing Factors in Number of Visitors
Based on information from the local residents as well as
the manager of Budug Asu, increasing visitor occur on Sunday, because almost of
visitors are from students of senior high school. As for any other day in
addition to Sunday only a few visitors that visit Budug Asu.
CHAPTER IV
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Conclusion
Budug
Asu is a new tourist attraction located on the slopes of Mountain Arjuno,
Lawang, Regency of Malang. Initially, Budug Asu is the main line for towards
the Mountain Arjuno who passed by motorcycle crosser. The beautiful view of
Budug Asu will make we want to go back there, although the route to access
Budug Asu is quite difficult, but is where the challenges that we have to face
to enjoy a beautiful view.

Suggestion
For
provider, the access road should be improved to facilitate the visitors to
visit it easily, facilities that are still lacking like a security post should
exist. For visitors, make sure the physical condition is in good condition
because access to Budug Asu is like climbing a mountain. Sufficient supplies
and use special footwear to avoid slipping easily. Better to visit during the
dry season to avoid the slippery terrain. Not to forget the battery performance
and photography equipment is well preserved to capture the moment at the peak
of Budug Asu Malang.
